Team NXT presents USAS2 -A tale of Shiroki and Kuroki-

What is 40 years of MSX without some hope for the future? Well, Team NXT is here to give you something to look forward to with a hands-on presentation of their upcoming game USAS2 -A tale of Shiroki and Kuroki– which takes advantage of the glorious possibilities of the MSX2 system and the OPL4 sound module (with 640 kB sample RAM).

After Team DEVA released their first game Angelic Warrior DEVA back in 2020, the guys took a little time off to relax and think of other cool things to do with their lives. Well, MSX is a huge part of their lives ofcourse and so they decided to embark on a new mission andd create an even more ambitious game. Since the name Team DEVA didn’t make any sense anymore they re-invented themselves as Team NXT and even convinced some other poor lost souls to join them on this journey. The game that they are currently developing is a prequel to the well known Konami game USAS and will feature Metroidvania like gameplay with a vast world to explore, demons to defeat and mysteries to unravel. Furthermore, the game will feature a massive storyline with mature themes and plot twists and for the music lovers there is much to enjoy as well because their new game will take full advantage of the possibilities of the OPL4 sound module.
